As a uniformed organisation members of our Scout Group are required to wear the correct uniform when taking part in activities.
For Cubs the minimum unifrorm requirement for investiture is a Group neckerchief with woggle, and a Cub sweatshirt, worn with grey school trousers. At the earliest opportunity, Cubs should also aim to purchase a pair of activity trousers.
For most activities it will be acceptable for Cubs to wear trainers or other comfortable shoes with the above, but for parades or special occasions smart shoes must be worn.
A Group neckerchief and woggle can be obtained from your Section Leader for £6.50. A Cub sweatshirt (£10.00 ish) and activity trousers (£15.00 ish) can be obtained online from Outdoors:
http://www.scouting.outdoors.ltd.uk/acatalog/cubs.htm
or from School Time, the school uniform shop, at 23 Railway Street, Chatham. Telephone: 01634 831684
Please ensure that your son / daughter wears the correct, full uniform for Cubs, unless indicated otherwise on the programme.
When earned, badges should be sewn onto the Cub sweatshirt as shown in the diagram below.
