Medway Scouts run a monthly District Swimming Session for Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts. (Sorry, there are age rules for under 8's that restrict Beaver Scouts attending.) Entry is only £1 with your Group Neckerchief.

Beaver Scouts, Cubs and Scouts start again this term on Wednesday 16th January meeting at the hall at the normal times.

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will start back after the summer holiday on Wednesday 5th September. Section Leaders will endeavour to ensure that programmes for the new term are entered onto the website before this date.

THE BIG EVENT is for EVERYONE in Kent Scouts and will be held at The County Showground, Detling, Maidstone. This is your chance to be part of the biggest event ever held in Kent’s recent history.

Robot Wars, The Time Zone, Aerial Runways, Climbing Walls, The Ice Wall, Archery, Human table football, Racing cars, Blindfold driving, The Royal Marines, The Army, The Royal Navy, Clothes Show, Gang Shows, Daleks, Quasar Laser, Mega Slides, Bouncy Castles, Rodeo Bull, Jet Ski simulator, Target golf, Human gyroscope, Reptiles, Quad bikes...

You even get a special badge, just for being part of THE BIG EVENT.

Letters and forms will be coming out about THE BIG EVENT from your Section Leaders shortly, but make sure you put these dates in your diary now.

Every year members of our Cub Pack and Scout Troop attend a week long summer camp. This year's camp will be held at Skreens Park Scout Campsite in Roxwell, near Chelmsford in Essex.

Once a month the District runs a swimming session for all Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts in Medway. Normally available are mats, rubber rings, tubes, balls and bricks.

All Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will be taking part in a sponsored walk. Exact details for the walk are still to be finalised, but it is planned that Scouts and Cubs will be walking about 10 miles, meeting up with the Beavers half way round.

The Cubs will be tested on their powers of observation and local knowledge this evening. They will be taking part in a variety of games and activities based on the surrounding area.

Tonight the Cubs will be playing games and learning how to use a compass to find their way around.
