All our adults whether they be Warranted Leaders or members of the Group’s Executive Committee are all volunteers.
Our Committee is mainly comprised of parents who’s young people are invested within the group. It’s a vital element of the Group’s hierarchy as they support the Leadership Team in the running of the group. It’s their job to focus on areas that need to be managed that don’t fall into the day to day remit of teaching young people Scouting and delivering the 6-25 Programme, which is dealt with by the Section Leaders.
Our Leadership Team is made up of ex Scouts, parents that have joined in and become leaders and friends of existing leaders & parents. So we have a diverse age range and experience within the Leadership Team, who mainly concentrate on organising activities, camps and meetings that deliver the 6-25 Programme for our young people wishing the group.
